The Flaming Lips Share What Is The Light? From Upcoming 'The Soft Bulletin' Live Album

Tuesday, 26 November 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

The Flaming Lips have shared a video for their live version of What Is the Light?

The track is from the psych-rock band's first official live album, 'The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live At Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra', which is set to arrive on November 29 via Bella Union in the UK and Europe and Warner Bros across the rest of the world.

As the title suggests, it was filmed during the band's 2016 show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, where they played 'The Soft Bulletin' in full accompanied by a 68-piece orchestra and 57-person choir.

The release also doubles as a celebration of the original record's 20th anniversary.
