The nominations for this year's Brit Awards have been revealed.
FFKA Twigs (pictured), Charli XCX, Freya Ridings, Mabel and Mahalia are up for British Female Solo Artist, while nominated for British Male Solo Artist are Dave, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Michael Kiwanuka and Stormzy. Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Coldplay, D-Block Europe and Foals are all in the running for Best Group.
Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey and Lizzo are all competing for International Female Solo Artist, with Bruce Springsteen, Burna Boy, Dermot Kennedy, Post Malone and Tyler, The Creator up for International Male Solo Artist. Aitch, Dave, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel and Sam Fender are all nominated for Best New Artist.
Competing for the Mastercard British Album Of The Year are Dave - 'Psychodrama', Harry Styles - 'Fine Line', Lewis Capaldi - 'Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent', Michael Kiwanuka - 'Kiwanuka', and Stormzy - 'Heavy Is The Head'.
Song of the year will be between AJ Tracey - Ladbroke Grove, Calvin Harris and Rag'n'Bone Man - Giant, Dave feat Burna Boy - Location, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber - I Don't Care, Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved, Mabel - Don't Call Me Up, Mark Ronson feat Miley Cyrus - Nothing Breaks Like A Heart, Sam Smith and Normani - Dancing With A Stranger, Stormzy - Vossi Bop, and Tom Walker- Just You and I.
As well as a rejig of the award categories, the BRITS Critics’ Choice Award has evolved into the Rising Star Award, which was announced in December. Celeste saw off competition from Beabadoobee and Joy Crookes to take home the gong, following in the footsteps of previous winners Sam Fender, Jorja Smith, Adele, Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé, Ellie Goulding, Florence and the Machine, and Rag ’n’ Bone Man.
The Brit Awards 2020 will take place at London's O2 Arena on February 18, with Jack Whitehall returning as host. Tickets are on sale now.
