Pearl Jam Release First 'Gigaton' Single Dance Of The Clairvoyants

Pearl Jam have released a new single.
Dance Of The Clairvoyants is the first cut to be shared from their new album, 'Gigaton', which is due to arrive on March 27 and follow up 2013's 'Lightning Bolt'. The experimental song combines '80s electro-pop and funk influence with their rock roots. Bassist Jeff Ament said:
"I can’t tell you how proud I am about this group of songs. As you know, we took our time and that benefited us taking more chances. 'Dance' was a perfect storm of experimentation and real collaboration, mixing up the instrumentation and building a great song, and Ed [Vedder - vocalist] writing some of my favorite words yet, around Matt’s [Cameron] killer drum pattern. Did I mention Mike’s [McCready] insane guitar part and that Stone [Gossard - guitarist] is playing bass on this one? We’ve opened some new doors creatively and that’s exciting."
The grunge legends will support the record with a spring North American tour and summer European tour, with the latter including their only UK show of the year at BST Hyde Park in London.
