The Soundcrash Funk and Soul Weekender has been postponed.
Following previous editions at Camber Sands Pontins and Brighton Beach, the event was set to take over Dreamland in Margate at the end of May 2020.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic it has been rescheduled to May 2021. It will continue to feature a wide variety of acts from the worlds of funk and soul, with sets that will satisfy both veterans and newcomers to the genres. Head below for a statement from the organisers.
What? A three-day music festival dedicated to everything funk and soul.
Where? Dreamland, Margate.
When? Rescheduled to May 28-30, 2021.
Who? Returning for the new dates are headliners Sister Sledge, Toots and the Maytals (pictured), and George Clinton with Parliament Funkadelic, as well as nearly all of the previously confirmed 2020 bill according organisers.
