Beyoncé has released another trailer for her new visual album.
'Black is King', which will stream on Disney+, was written, directed and exec produced by Beyoncé and is set to arrive on July 31. The new clip is a family affair with appearances from Jay-Z and Tina Knowles-Lawson, while Bey's former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland and Naomi Campbell also feature. The film is also home to performances by Pharrell Williams and Lupita Nyong’o.
“This visual album from Beyoncé reimagines the lessons of The Lion King for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns,” a statement announcing ‘Black is King’ read. “The film was in production for one year with a cast and crew that represent diversity and connectivity.”
Beyoncé also recently released a new single, Black Parade, on Juneteenth, and dropped in on a remix of Megan Thee Stallion's Savage.
