Stendur æva (which translates to Stands Alive) serves as the second preview of the Icelandic band's forthcoming LP, 'Odin's Raven Magic', due out on December 4 through Krunk via Warner Classics.
Cast across sprawling orchestral and choral arrangements, the track features vocals from both Jónsi and Steindór Andersen. It follows the previously released lead single, Dvergmál, which landed in October alongside initial details of the record.
The project sees Sigur Rós combining with the Schola Cantorum of Reykjavik and L'Orchestre des Laureats du Conservatoire national de Paris for performances based on their native land's medieval literature.
