Aston Merrygold has shared a new single, Share a Coke.
Following Overboard, the latest track in the JLS star's resurgence revolves around acoustic guitar and soft keys. He said:
"It’s been an incredibly tough 12 months for so many people, and what’s been so clear to me is just how much we all miss being with our family, friends, relatives, colleagues on a daily basis. Human interaction is so important to us all. Share A Coke is about something that none of us will ever take for granted again, just enjoying a moment, sharing a drink, having a chat, and that longing for it to return soon."
Co-penned by Merrygold with Kassa Alexander and Victoria Akintola, the song was produced by the Grammy-nominated Lukas Nathanson and Scott Effman, who have previously worked with Justin Bieber.
The Masked Singer UK star will hit the road with JLS in June for their rescheduled Beat Again reunion tour, which culminates with three huge gigs at London's O2 Arena.
