John Mayer has shared details of his eighth studio album.
The follow-up to 2017's 'The Search For Everything' is called 'Sob Rock' and will arrive on July 16. The singer-songwriter confirmed the news with a minimal post on social media, unveiling the record's 1980s-inspired artwork.
There's currently no further concrete information available about the record, though Mayer has teased in a mock-up vintage magazine cover that "details and music" are to be revealed this Friday (June 4). Take a look below.
The 43-year-old's last release was the 2019 standalone single Carry Me Away. He'll rejoin his Dead and Company bandmates in August for a headline US tour.
