The legendary band will play Emirates Old Trafford on June 25, Villa Park on June 27, and London Stadium (fka London Stadium Olympic Park) on June 30 and July 2, marking their first UK gigs since they headlined Reading and Leeds in 2019. Frontman Dave Grohl said:
We can’t fucking wait to get back to the UK! It’s been far too long. Get ready to make up for lost time with some long ass nights of rock & roll.
Support will come from St Vincent and Loose Articles in Manchester, Courtney Barnett and Hot Milk in Birmingham, St Vincent and Shame at the first London show, and Courtney Barnett and Hot Milk for the second.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees dropped their new album, ’Medicine At Midnight’, in February, and a disco-themed LP, ’Hail Satin’, under the name Dee Gees for Record Store Day. Grohl, meanwhile, will be releasing his first book, The Storyteller, on October 5.
