Mary J. Blige has announced her new studio album.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2017's 'Strength Of A Woman' is called 'Good Morning Gorgeous' and will arrive on February 11 via her new label, Mary Jane Productions in partnership with 300 Entertainment.
To celebrate the news, the R&B icon has dropped the H.E.R. and D'Mile-produced title track, a downtempo soulful number that features a string arrangement, along with the more lively, thumping DJ Khaled collaboration, Amazing. She said:
"Working on this new album has been so much fun. I’m excited for my fans to hear these first two songs to give them a taste of what’s to come. I’m grateful to all my collaborators and partners who have walked with me through this process and even more grateful to my fans who I hope have a blast with this new music."
Two days after the record's release, Blige will join Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg to perform at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show in Inglewood, California.
