Deacon Blue have rescheduled their upcoming Scottish shows.
Due to growing COVID-19 concerns, the Glasgow band will now play P&J Live in Aberdeen on May 6 and Glasgow's OVO Hydro the following day. Original tickets will be honoured, and the remainder are on sale now.
The group's Cities Of Love Tour began on December 1 at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. They previously also had to cancel the Irish dates of the run due to the pandemic, and are hoping to get new dates for those shows soon, according to the video featuring singer Ricky Ross posted to the band's social media. Take a look below.
The trek takes its name from the group's latest album, released back in March.
We understand how much people were looking forward to this weekend & we really were too but with historic levels of covid infections circulating in the community we feel it would be irresponsible to go ahead with our 2 concerts in Aberdeen on 18th Dec & Glasgow on 19th Dec.
