Union J have announced a reunion show.
All four original members of the vocal group — Josh Cuthbert, JJ Hamblett, Jaymi Hensley and George Shelley, who finished fourth in the ninth series of The X Factor, will perform together for the first time since 2016 at the London Palladium on May 28.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on February 4. They said:
“We’re so excited to be back! We can’t wait to be on the stage together as a four again and to be reunited with our wonderful fans. The London Palladium is such an incredible venue and it feels like the perfect return to live shows for us as a group. After the journey we’ve had, we know it’s going to be a night that we’ll remember forever!”
The group originally started back in 2011 as a trio called Triple J featuring Cuthbert, Hamblett and Hensley. Shelley joined the band a year later following a suggestion from the X Factor Judges and they became Union J.
Shelley left in 2016 and was replaced briefly by Casey Johnson, though he departed just a few months later. Cuthbert then parted ways with Hensley and Hamblett, leaving them as a duo until they disbanded in 2019.
Union J released their self-titled debut album in 2013, and followed up with 'You Got It All' in 2014 and 'Who Would've Thought' in 2019.
