Caroline Polachek is back with a new single.

Self-produced with longtime collaborator Danny L Harle, Billions marks the former Chairlift singer's first new music since 2021's single Bunny Is A Rider.

Anchored by pulses and clanks over atmospheric synths, the psych-pop song was included in her live shows at the end of 2021. It features London's Trinity Boys and Girls Choir, and arrives with the b-side Long Road Home, a new version of her 2020 collaboration with Oneohtrix Point Never. She said:

"The overabundance of this world overwhelms me. Sometimes it seems like ultimate tragedy, the earth being pillaged and destroyed for it. Sometimes it seems pre-human, beyond morality, sublime. I don’t pick sides, I just live here, with you. How does it feel, being so rich?”

Head below to watch the Billions video, co-directed by Matt Copson and Polachek, who released her debut solo album 'Pang' in 2019.

She'll appear at European festivals this summer, including All Points East and Parklife. Before that, she'll support Dua Lipa on select dates of the singer's North American Future Nostalgia Tour.
