Beabadoobee Plots UK And Ireland Tour In Support Of Second Album 'Beatopia'

Beabadoobee has shared details of her second album, along with plans to tour the UK.
The full-length follow-up to her 2020 debut 'Fake It Flowers' is called 'Beatopia' and will arrive on July 15 via Dirty Hit. It'll comprise 14 tracks, including the newly unveiled lead single, Talk, as well as a collaboration with PinkPantheress, Tinkerbell Is Overrated.
Full of catchy hooks, the hazy, lo-fi Talk sees the singer-songwriter continuing to deliver a '90s alt-rock revival sound. It arrives with a video directed by Alexandra Leese and Luke Casey. Beabadoobee said:
"I wrote Talk just after my first album. I was obsessed with Tuesday because I thought it was the best night to go out, not too much chaos but just enough to have a good time. Generally it's about doing things that aren’t necessarily healthy or great for you but you can't help indulging. It's like that unavoidable feeling that you get, you can't get rid of it and you know it's bad but you love it really and it's whatever, so you do it anyway."
The singer-songwriter will support the record with a UK and Ireland tour in the autumn, kicking off at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on October 4 and concluding at London's O2 Academy Brixton on October 19. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on April 1.
