The Gaslight Anthem Announce Summer UK And Ireland Shows As Part Of First Tour In Four Years

The Gaslight Anthem have announced UK and Ireland shows for the summer.
The New Jersey rock band, led by Brian Fallon, will play London's OVO Arena Wembley, Manchester O2 Apollo, the O2 Academy Edinburgh, the O2 Academy Birmingham, Dublin's National Stadium, and Belfast's Telegraph Building as part of a wider European tour during August. They also have a North American trek scheduled through September and October. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on March 31.
News of their first live gigs in four years comes after a series of social media teasers, with lead singer Fallon revealing online that the group's seven-year hiatus was over, and they're currently working on a follow-up to 2014's 'Get Hurt'.
"I am very pleased to announce to you all that The Gaslight Anthem is returning to full time status as a band," he said. "We’re also beginning to write new songs for what will be our sixth LP. We’re looking forward to the future and seeing you all again. We want to thank you for staying with us."
Their last tour comprised of US and international shows in 2018, celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2008 LP 'The '59 Sound'.
