Sam Smith Sets January Release For Fourth Album 'Gloria'

Sam Smith has announced their fourth studio album.
The follow-up to 2020's 'Love Goes' is called 'Gloria' and will arrive on January 27. Recorded in Jamaica, Los Angeles and London, alongside Jimmy Napes, Stargate and ILYA, it'll feature the Grammy Award-winning singer's recent collaborative single Unholy with Kim Petras.
To accompany the news, the 30-year-old has shared the LP's cover art, a serious portrait of Smith looking into the camera. Smith said:
"It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation. It was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again. Oddly, it feels like my first-ever record. And it feels like a coming of age."
The details arrive ahead of their two headline shows at London's Royal Albert Hall on October 21 and 22.
