Morrissey Confirms Details Of New Album 'Bonfire Of Teenagers' Feat Iggy Pop And Miley Cyrus

Morrissey has shared details of his new album.
In a statement via his website, The Smiths frontman revealed that 'Bonfire Of Teenagers' will arrive in February 2023 worldwide via Capitol, except for in the UK, where he currently does not have a record deal and so there's currently no release set.
What we do know is, the follow-up to 2020's 'I Am Not A Dog On A Chain' was recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy Award-winning producer Andrew Watt.
It features musical contributions from him, Jesse Tobias, Josh Klinghoffer, and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith and Flea, as well as vocals from Iggy Pop and Miley Cyrus. The album art was created by Liam Lynch, but has not yet been shared. Check out the tracklist below.
Morrissey has also confirmed that Capitol Records have licensed the rights to re-release the following of his albums: ‘Southpaw Grammar’, ‘You Are The Quarry’, ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors’, ‘Years of Refusal’ and ‘World Peace is None of Your Business’.
The announcements arrive ahead of the singer's upcoming North American tour, which will begin on November 11 in Ontario, Canada. Tickets are on sale now.

UPDATE 15/11: The following brief statement was posted to his website on November 14, 2022: "'Bonfire of Teenagers' is no longer scheduled for a February release, as stated by this site. Its fate is exclusively in the hands of Capitol Records (Los Angeles.)"
