You Me At Six have shared a short film for their single Mixed Emotions (I Didn't Know How To Tell You What I Was Going Through).
Released in October, the honest, intimate track marks the latest preview of the band's upcoming eighth studio album, 'Truth Decay', which is scheduled to arrive on January 27 via Underdog Records/AWAL Recordings. Frontman Josh Franceschi said:
"Mixed Emotions (I didn’t know how to tell you what I was going through). That’s what this short film is about.
"We wanted to challenge the stigma that surrounds toxic masculinity and why does it plague so many households and so many relationships.
"It’s not always easy to tell someone what it is you’re going through but It is paramount to try. Trying to understand each other’s differences, trying to grow and trying to exhibit more empathy.
"Watch it, share it, take better care of each other."
The song will appear on the record alongside the previously unveiled Deep Cuts and No Future? Yeah Right featuring Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari.
The five-piece will support the follow-up to 2021's 'SUCKPUNCH' with the Truth Decay Tour in February with support from Waterparks, The Maine, and Bears In Trees. Tickets are on sale now.
