Jungle Announce Fourth Studio Album 'Volcano' With New Track Candle Flame

Tuesday, 28 March 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Jungle are back with a new single and details of their fourth studio album.

The follow-up to 2021's 'Loving In Stereo' is called 'Volcano' and will arrive on August 11. As a preview, the British dance duo have shared the bouncy, soul-influenced lead single, Candle Flame featuring the rapid fire rhymes of rapper Erick The Architect.

Offering piano, hip hop beats and guitar over a disco-influence groove, the track comes with a choreographed video, below, alongside the record's cover art tracklist, which features contributions from Roots Manuva, Channel Tres and Bas, among others. Jungle commented:

"As Jungle, we are incredibly proud of our latest release, Candle Flame. We wanted to create a song that was both personal and relatable, exploring the highs and lows of love and relationships in a way that was both poetic and authentic.

"Working with Erick The Architect was an absolute pleasure, and his unique perspective and talent added an extra layer of depth and richness to the track.

"Candle Flame represents everything that we stand for as a band - creativity, passion, and a commitment to making music that touches the hearts and minds of our fans. We can't wait for everyone to hear it, and we hope that it brings joy and inspiration to all who listen."

They'll support the release with a North American and European tour in the summer. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on March 31.

The run includes a previously announced headline performance at London's All Points East on August 26.
