Paris Jackson has released a new single, Hit Your Knees.
The earworm rock track was co-written with Linda Perry, who also produced it. The pair met back in October 2022 at a live event in Los Angeles for the organisation EqualizeHer, which Perry co-founded with Alisha Ballard, and which aims to tackle gender inequality in the music industry.
To promote EqualizeHer, Jackson used a female production team for her new single, and is allowing select young women who are interested in a career in music to go behind the scenes on her current North American tour supporting Incubus.
Hit Your Knees follows the spring single Bandaid, but despite the new material there's currently no word on a follow-up to Jackson's 2020 debut album 'Wilted'.
