Dream Wife have released a new song, Love You More.
Influenced by '90s alt-rock groups such as Pixies and Hole, the track was recorded during the sessions for their third album, 'Social Lubrication', released earlier this summer via Lucky Number. They said:
"Love You More is not your typical love song, but a love song to the self and choosing to love perfectly imperfect bodies. It has a gritty underbelly, dealing with self-acceptance, body dysmorphia, disaster capitalism, climate collapse and depression. From the micro to the macro, the song explores the relationship between the self and both the body and the earth as experiences of home, as a vessel for feeling."
The new song arrives ahead of a series of US shows, which starts later this week in Brooklyn, New York. The London punk-rock trio also have UK and Ireland dates scheduled as part of a wider European tour in the autumn, which includes a set at Brighton's Mutations Festival on November 4.
They'll kick off 2024 with a new run of headline UK gigs, including a slot at Rockaway Beach festival in Bognor Regis. Tickets for the shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 15).
