Judas Priest have shared details of their 19th studio album.
The British heavy metal icons announced 'Invincible Shield' during their appearance at the inaugural Power Trip over the weekend, the hard rock and metal festival arranged by the same promoters behind Coachella.
The follow-up to 2018's 'Firepower' is scheduled to arrive on March 8 via Columbia Records, with its first single, Panic Attack, set to be released this Friday (October 13). Check out a teaser trailer below.
During their set in Indio, California, the band were joined for their encore by longtime guitarist Glenn Tipton, who retired from touring in 2018 due to his Parkinson’s disease. He also contributed to the new album.
The group will support the LP with a previously scheduled UK and European arena tour in spring 2024. Tickets are on sale.
In addition to Judas Priest, the three-day Power Trip also saw huge sets from Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Metallica and Tool.
