Stereophonics' Kelly Jones has announced a new solo album.
'Inevitable Incredible' will arrive on May 3 and, according to the description on his webstore, finds the Stereophonics guitarist-vocalist playing primarily on piano for the first time. The LP was recorded on a remote island in Norway, and includes eight tracks that feature live vocals and keys, as well as orchestral strings.
As a preview of the new record, Jones has shared the vulnerable title track, which you can play below.
The project marks the 49-year-old's second full-length solo release, following up 2007's 'Only the Names Have Been Changed'.
It not only follows his time as the frontman for Stereophonics, but also his recent output under the Far From Saints moniker alongside Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker from The Wind and The Wave.
'Inevitable Incredible' tracklist:
1. Inevitable Incredible
2. Turn Bad Into Good
3. Time’s Running Away
4. Echowrecked
5. Sometimes You Fly Like The Wind
6. Monsters In The House
7. May I Come Home From My War
8. The Beast Will Be What The Beast Will Be
