Fusing post-punk and alt-rock with pop-leaning hooks and alluring, harmonised vocals, it serves as the first taster of the four-piece's forthcoming debut album, which is expected in August.
Led by Austrian-born, London and Berlin-based Anna Friedberg, the band's line-up is completed by Emily Linden on guitars and vocals, Cheryl Pinero on bass and vocals, and Laura Williams on drums. Writer, guitarist and vocalist Friedberg said:
"Hello is about being in the mind of a stranger, and seeing the world through their eyes and getting a holiday from my own mind basically. To see the world through someone else's mind and have different fears and different views, and just getting rid of my own thoughts."
The track arrives ahead of their performances at SXSW in Austin, Texas later in March. They'll also play shows in London and Manchester, alongside an appearance at The Great Escape in Brighton in May, as well as supporting Big Special that same month.
The group released their debut EP, 'Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah', back in 2021.
