The Melvins have shared a second single from their upcoming album.
Driven by dual drumming and descending guitar riffs, Allergic To Food offers another psychedelic, noise-rock moment from 'Tarantula Heart', following the previously released Working The Ditch.
Described as one of the band's most experimental releases yet, the LP will arrive on April 19 via Ipecac Recordings, and clocks in at 39 minutes despite only having five tracks.
Mixed and co-produced by regular collaborator Toshi Kasai, it features Roy Mayorga on a second drum kit, plus contributions from We Are The Asteroid guitarist Gary Chester.
The Melvins' most recent album is 2022's 'Bad Moon Rising', while frontman Buzz Osborne released his second solo album under his King Buzzo moniker, 'Gift of Sacrifice', in 2020.
