Stefflon Don has announced her long-awaited debut album.
'Island 54' will arrive on June 14 via 54 LDN/BMG and features a number of collaborators, including London hip hop collective D-Block Europe, Jamaican dancehall star Buju Banton, Nigerian Afrobeats giants Adekunle Gold and Bnxn, and French R&B artist Tayc. The record's title is a nod to the British rapper's Caribbean heritage and the 54 countries that make up Africa. Commenting on the 20-track project, she said:
"A futuristic private island. An island that will put you in awe. An island that is magical and can only make you feel high vibrational frequencies. The music on the album represents the unforgettable vibes the island will be giving you: A perfect fusion between Dancehall and Afro."
Stefflon Don will play Bristol's BS3 all-dayer alongside NE-YO, Craig David Presents TS5, Jess Glynne and more on June 22.
