Can't Be Found serves as the second preview of the Detroit rock band's Bob Ezrin-produced new album, 'Heavy Lifting', due out on October 18 via earMusic.
Featuring contributions from Living Colour's Vernon Reid and original MC5 drummer Dennis 'Machine Gun' Thompson, the track offers a funk-infused, gritty rock'n'roll sound. It follows Boys Who Play With Matches, which arrived alongside details of the record in June.
Late founding member Kramer (pictured), the last remaining active member of the band, died back in February following a battle with pancreatic cancer. Thompson then passed away in May.
The follow-up to 1971's 'High Time' will arrive the day before MC5 are to be honoured with the Musical Excellence Award as part of their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
