Willie Nelson has announced a new album.
'Last Leaf On The Tree' will arrive on November 1, and sees the country music legend covering tracks by Tom Waits, Beck, Nina Simone, The Flaming Lips, Neil Young and others. As a preview, check out his take on Waits' track Last Leaf below.
As well as covers, the record will feature a new version of his 1962 track The Ghost and new song The Color Of Sound, which he co-wrote with his son Micah Nelson, who also curated and produced the record, as well as playing a number of the instruments on the album and designing its cover.
This year, Nelson has already released his 75th solo studio album, 'The Border'. It came out on May 31, a month after his 91st birthday.
