Måneskin's Damiano David Releases New Solo Single Born With A Broken Heart

Måneskin frontman Damiano David has shared a new solo single.
Led by dramatic vocals, the anthemic Born With A Broken Heart is the second preview of the Italian rockstar's forthcoming new project. He said:
"When I wrote this song I was getting out of a very dark place, I was feeling emotionless and I was afraid that I had lost my ability to feel things, either good or bad. This was happening while I was starting the most meaningful relationship of my life and the fear of not being capable or ready was big. I think the song was a way to make myself make sense of what I was feeling and look at it from a less scary prospective. I’m happy to say that today I don't feel like this but I think a lot of people can relate with the feeling of not being good enough."
Head below to view the single's accompanying video, directed by Aerin Moreno. Damiano explained: "The video is my personal fantasy. A world where no matter what, once you step through the door, everything becomes magical and beautiful.
"It’s a way to say that not everything negative is gonna hurt you, but sometimes is actually gonna take you to the next chapter of your life. We all have the ability to transform negative experiences into something meaningful for us."
The Måneskin frontman shared his Labrinth-produced debut solo single, Silverlines, in late September. Earlier that month, Måneskin bassist Victoria De Angelis dropped her techno-inspired single Get Up Bitch! (Shake Ya Ass), a collaboration with Anitta.
Måneskin, meanwhile, released their most recent album, 'RUSH!', in 2023.
