Sting has added a new show to his run of outdoor UK dates next summer.
The former Police frontman will be accompanied by long-time collaborator and guitarist Dominic Miller, and dynamic drummer Chris Maas, for a performance at Lincoln Castle on June 24. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (November 1).
Sting joins Rag'n'Bone Man, The Stranglers and Buzzcocks, Olly Murs, Texas, Simple Minds and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell as a headliner for Live At Lincoln Castle 2025. Further acts are to be announced in the coming months.
The concert will fall in between the 17-time Grammy-winner's previously announced stops on his Sting 3.0 World Tour:Isle Of Wight Festival, Liverpool’s On The Waterfront series, Glasgow’s Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park and Cardiff Castle as part of the Depot Live series, plus Forest Live shows at Westonbirt Arboretum and Cannock Chase Forest.
He'll also top the bill at next year’s Latitude Festival, which returns to Henham Park, Suffolk, between July 24 and 27. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
In September, Sting shared I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart), his first new single since the release of his latest studio album, 2021’s ’The Bridge’. He did, however, collaborate with Marshmello and P!nk on the single Dreaming in 2023, the same year he was on the Bryn Terfel track The Green Willow Tree.
The power trio will continue the current North American leg of their Sting 3.0 Tour with the second of four shows in Chicago tonight (October 29).
