Starsailor have announced a UK and European tour for the autumn.
The band will celebrate 25 years together with shows in Leeds, Wolverhampton, Norwich, Nottingham, Bristol, London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Manchester between November 13 and 29. Support will come from Ed Harcourt on all dates except Leeds.
The UK dates will follow six shows in Europe, where they'll visit Paris, Brussels, Cologne, Amsterdam, Bern and Istanbul between October 8 and 24. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (January 31). Frontman James Walsh commented:
"We wanted to do something special to mark 25 years together as a band. These songs mean so much to people, we really enjoy playing them and seeing the audience’s reaction. We can’t wait!"
Starsailor will play two special 25th anniversary shows at the Tung Auditorium in Liverpool on February 15. The matinée and evening performances will see the group joined by a string ensemble arranged and conducted by Joe Duddell.
They'll also appear at the Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington in May, and Portsmouth's Victorious festival in August. Singer James Walsh also has tour dates in the diary. Tickets are on sale now.
Starsailor released their latest album, and sixth overall, 'Where The Wild Things Grow', in March 2024.
