Mumford and Sons have added two new shows to their UK and European tour later this year. Mumford and Sons tickets for the new dates go on sale at 10am today.
Due to demand, the London band will play Newcastle's Utilita Arena on November 29 and Leeds' First Direct Arena on November 30.
The new gigs will take place ahead of their previously scheduled performances at arenas in Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cardiff, and London, where they'll take over The O2 on December 10 and 11. Support on all UK shows will come from Sierra Ferrell.
The European leg of the trek will commence on November 6 at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm and wraps up on November 25 at the Sagres Campo Pequeno in Lisbon, Portugal. Tickets for their previously confirmed dates are on sale now, and £1 from every ticket sold will benefit War Child.
The group will release their new album, 'Rushmere', tomorrow (March 28), having previously shared its title track and the single Malibu.
They'll celebrate the record's arrival with UK launch shows in Bristol, Liverpool and Kingston between March 31 and April 1, plus global listening events have been taking place daily at local record shops since March 21 up until today (March 27).
The band will also headline BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend at Sefton Park, Liverpool on May 25, and play a sold-out show at Dublin's Malahide Castle on July 4.
