Defeater is an American hardcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, currently consisting of Derek Archambault, Mike Poulin, Jake Woodruff, and Joe Longobardi.
Formed in 2008, the band released their debut album, 'Travels', in 2008, which was followed by 'Empty Days & Sleepless Nights', in 2011 and 2013's 'Letters Home'. The band released their latest album, ‘Abandoned’, in 2015. Defeater head to the UK for shows in August, alongside their appearance at Reading and Leeds Festival.
