Jepther McClymont OD, better known as Luciano, is a Jamaican second-generation roots reggae artist.
Luciano began recording in 1992 under various monikers, with his first single Ebony & Ivory, followed by a split album with DJ Presley for producer Sky High. His first releases as Luciano however included the hit singles Give My Love a Try, and the 1993 #1 UK reggae hit Shake It Up Tonight. After more singles with Phillip Fatis Burrell, Luciano released 'Moving Up', his first full length album, in 1993. Twenty albums followed throughout the 1990s, 00s and 2010s, until his latest 'Zion Awake' in 2014, which earned him a Grammy Nomination for Best Reggae Album.
