Rob Thomas is a German born, American singer/songwriter who is best known as the frontman for the band Matchbox Twenty and his collaboration with Santana on the single Smooth. However, Thomas has also paved his way as a solo artist and music writer. He has worked with artists such as Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger, Marc Anthony, Pat Green, Taylor Hicks, Travis Tritt and Daughtry.

Thomas released 'The Great Unknown', his third solo album and first since 2009's 'Cradlesong', in late 2015, and has toured across North America and Australia. He's also toured alongside Counting Crowds.
