The So Solid Crew are an English garage, hip-hop, and grime collective that found fame in the UK during the early 00s, during the height of garage’s commercially successful years. Consisting of Lisa Maffia, Romeo, Megaman, Asher D, and Oxide & Neutrino - as well as a dozen others - they originally started on pirate radio stations before breaking into the charts.
They managed to feature in the Top 20 of the UK Singles chart a number of times, hitting the top twice with Broken Silence and most famously 21 Seconds. After the genre began to quiet and the scene turned underground, the crew started to die out too, releasing just one single after 2004: 2010’s Since You Went Away. 2013, however, saw the group reform for a reunion tour and farewell shows. However, it wasn't the end for So Solid Crew, still performing to this day. They will take over the O2 Forum in March 2020.
