Testament are an American thrash metal band from California, consisting of guitarist Eric Peterson, guitarist Alex Skolnick, Steve Di Giorgio on bass, drummer Gene Hoglan and vocalist Chuck Billy.
Formed in 1983, they are considered one of the most popular of the 1980s thrash metal bands, forming alongside the likes of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax. To date they have released 12 albums, the latest being 2016's 'Brotherhood of the Snake'. Testament will team up with Exodus and Death Angel for The Bay Strikes Back Tour in 2020, which currently includes dates in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
