Viet Cong are a Canadian indie rock outfit hailing from Calgary, Alberta. Formed in 2012, the band consists of Matt Flegel, Mike Wallace, Scott Munro, and Daniel Christiansen.
With a sound described as 'labyrinthine post-punk', Viet Cong was originally created after the disbandment of Women, which Flegel and Wallace had performed in. They now boast a deal with Jagjaguwar/Flemish Eye, who release their self-titled debut album in January 2015. They supported it with shows across UK in February, and are now set to return to our shores for appearances at SXSW, Field Day, and Green Man Festival - which they warm-up for with a gig in Scala!
