Adam Kay is a writer and comedian from Brighton.

Known primarily for his work in television and film, he is also the author of the international bestselling and multi-award-winning book This is Going to Hurt, which is a compilation of the diaries he kept during his previous career in medicine.

Other notable TV credits include his work on Mitchell and Webb, Very British Problems, Mrs Brown's Boys, Crims and Child Genius.

His comedy shows consistently sell-out—particularly his residencies during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe—and fronts the comedy musical group Amateur Transplants.
