The Lemonheads have announced a UK tour for November and December, where they will play the album, 'It's A Shame About Ray' in its entirety along with other select songs from their other albums.
Formed as a punk-pop trio by three school mates, The Lemonheads emerged as major stars in the early nineties. The catchiness of their songs and the charisma of frontman Evan Dando (pictured) made The Lemonheads natural candidates for big time success which peaked with the release of their 1992 fifth studio album 'It's A Shame About Ray'.
Following the initial release, 'It's A Shame About Ray' was given the re-issue treatment which included a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'Mrs Robinson'. The cover track was released as a single and marked the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the movie 'The Graduate'.
