After three successful shows at London's O2 Arena last week, Robbie Williams has just confirmed a brand new 15-date European tour for 2013. The new tour, supporting new album 'Take The Crown', will begin with a string of UK dates in Manchester, Glasgow and London before heading off to countries across mainland Europe. Olly Murs is to support Robbie on the tour, Robbie's first full tour in over six years.
The 17-date run kicks off at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 19th June 2013 and culminates in Estonia just over two months later on 20th August 2013, taking in Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland on the way.
Robbie says: “I’ve got such a buzz out of playing live again this year. The shows we have done have reminded me how special it is to play my songs in front of a huge audience, with all the excitement and adrenaline that it can bring. Bring on 2013!!”
Supporting Robbie on the tour will be Olly Murs, who topped the chart this weekend with new album 'Right Place Right Time'. Speaking about his addition to the tour, Olly said: "Everyone knows I am a huge fan of Robbie, and I’m honoured to call him my friend. He’s been a huge inspiration to me and given me so much advice throughout my career so far. When he asked me to join him on tour I was over the moon!"
Robbie Williams presale tickets will be available from www.robbiewilliams.com ahead of Friday's general ticket sale. Join the presale this Thursday from 9am (GMT) over at tickets.robbiewilliams.com to secure your tickets early. Robbie Williams Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis and we anticipate demand to be extremely high, as with all tickets to see Robbie on tour, so be sure to get online sharp!
At the same time as purchasing your tickets, fans will be able to add a pre-order of the live album to your basket along with your tickets. The 3-disc CD is recorded live on the night and is not available anywhere else to pre-order this early. The best bit is you can pick it up straight after the show!
