Live at Jodrell Bank is one of the highest-rated music events of the summer, and since it’s inception in 2011, it’s gone on to win awards and establish itself as a truly unique and outstanding series of concerts. Now, in it’s third year, it’s announced that camping will be available for the first time ever!
The organisers are delighted to announce the news that camping facilities have been brought in, to satisfy demand from music and science lovers to stay in the surroundings of this historic location.
Live From Jodrell Bank is offering the option of camping close to the venue site in Cheshire, with the camp site in full view of the awe inspiring Lovell telescope - which at 76 meters is the third biggest radio telescope in the world.
Camping facilities are to be run by the widely acclaimed Camp At My Event, with the campsite based opposite Holmes Chapel Station, where there will be regular shuttle buses running over the weekend to Jodrell Bank.
There are a variety of camping options available - weekend passes, which includes parking and shuttle to the venue, are priced at £32, and the option to add a pre-erected four person tent for three days comes at £45 per person. There is also a package deal, which includes tickets for both Jodrell Bank shows and three nights camping at £99.
Packages are available for the New Order and Australian Pink Floyd weekend in July, and the Sigur Rós and Hallé weekend in August. New Order have crafted an outstanding bill for their specially curated show, and they have selected one of the UK’s most innovative acts in Public Service Broadcasting to support them. You can read more about New Order’s curating plan here.
