Hip-hop star Drake has set up residence at the top of Stereoboard’s Hot Ticket Chart this week, with sales for his forthcoming UK arena shows nudging country legend Dolly Parton into second.
At number three are the Reflektors - or as they’re more commonly know, Arcade Fire. The band released ‘Reflektor’ to mixed reviews last week but saw plenty of demand for a short run of intimate UK dates in November.
Just behind them are pop starlet Taylor Swift, who has a five night residency at London’s O2 Arena in the diary for February, and world-beating boyband One Direction. At number six are the Killers, who saw their ‘Direct Hits’ show at London’s Eventim Apollo sell out in 100 seconds.
Rounding out this week’s top 10 are Michael Buble, Strictly Come Dancing, James Arthur and Disney On Ice, while tickets for Arctic Monkeys’ recent arena shows continue to be hot property. The Sheffield band were forced to reschedule several dates due to illness - keep an eye out for them later in November.
Behind Alex Turner and pals are Lee Evans, Bruno Mars, Stereophonics and Mrs Brown’s Boys, while dubstep duo Chase And Status are at number 16 ahead of a UK arena tour that kicked off this week. Completing the top 20 are Calvin Harris, Nitro Circus Live, Billy Joel and Depeche Mode, who will be bringing their iconic synth noise to arenas throughout November.
