The Charlatans Announce New Album 'Different Days'

The Charlatans have announced a new album, 'Different Days'.

The follow up to 2015's 'Modern Nature' is due for release on May 26 through BMG and boasts contributions from Paul Weller, Johnny Marr, Anton Newcombe of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ian Rankin and Sharon Horgan, among others.

  5. Plastic Machinery (Guitar: Johnny Marr and Anton Newcombe) 
  6. The Forgotten One (Spoken word intro by Kurt Wagner) 
  7. Not Forgotten (Guitar - Johnny Marr, organ - Anton Newcombe) 
  8. There Will Be Chances (Drums - Pete Salisbury) 
  9. The Same House  (Synthesiser - Gillian Gilbert, drums and programming - Stephen Morris) 
  10. Over Again  (Percussion - Donald Johnson (A Certain Ratio), backing vocals - Nik Void (Factory Floor))
  11. Lets Go Together (Drums - Pete Salisbury) 
  12. The Setting Sun - Instrumental 
  13. Spinning Out  (Co-written, piano and backing vocals by Paul Weller)

The Tim Burgess-led band have a number of summer shows inked in the diary, including Lancashire Cricket Ground in May, where they will support the Courteeners, Scarborough Open Air Theatre in June, Pennfest in Buckinghamshire in July, and Ledbury's Lakefest and Victorious Festival in August.
