The Streets have unveiled a new single, Who's Got The Bag (21st June).
Cast across a looping electronic melody, the track serves as an ode to clubbing and pub culture, with its lyrics hyping up the sesh, a return to normality, and an end to the coronavirus-enforced social contact restrictions in the UK on June 21.
Opening with the lyrics, "first in the room, thirsting from noon, herbalist fumes, where’s me balloon? Curse off the zoom," the song was previewed by frontman Mike Skinner in a post on Instagram in February.
It's Skinner's first material since dropping the mixtape, 'None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive', in July 2020.
The Streets are due to top the bill of MADE Festival in the West Midlands in the summer. They also play Manchester's Castlefield Bowl.
The Streets Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Fri July 09 2021 - MANCHESTER Castlefield Bowl
Sat July 31 2021 - WEST BROMWICH Sandwell Valley Country Park
