The track appears on the singer's 2016 LP 'Starboy', while the Christian Breslauer-directed clip pays homage to the Netflix series Stranger Things and the 1982 film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
The video forms part of the fifth anniversary celebrations of 'Starboy', which also includes a limited edition collection of merchandise with Los Angeles-based brand Seventh Heaven. It drops at 8pm GMT tonight via The Weeknd's online store.
The Weeknd recently featured in Post Malone's single One Right Now, as well as Rosalía's song La Fama. His latest album came is 2020's 'After Hours'.
