Stormzy Returns With New Single Mel Made Me Do It, Shares Cameo-Filled Video

Stormzy is back with his first solo single in nearly three years.
Built on a bassy, chilling instrumental from producer Knox Brown, Mel Made Me Do It is a seven-minute track that includes a guest verse from Stylo G and a monologue penned by Wretch 32 and narrated by actress Michaela Coel.
According to a press release, the title is, "a direct reference to the influence of his long-time personal stylist." It arrives with an 11-minute video from director KLVDR and boasts a cast of special guests including track star Usain Bolt, Little Simz, documentarian Louis Theroux, Dave, and soccer manager José Mourinho. Stormzy's most recent album came in the form of 2019's 'Heavy Is The Head'. He'll play rescheduled shows in Australia and New Zealand during November and December.
