It's the second single from the London grime icon's upcoming third album, 'This Is What I Mean', which is scheduled for release on November 25 via 0207 Def Jam.
Following October's Hide & Seek, the soulful, poignant cut features production by George Moore, PRGRSHN and tendai, with additional vocals from fellow 0207 Def Jam labelmate Debbie, Mercury-Prize winning Sampha, and Grammy Award-winning Jacob Collier. Stormzy said:
"Debbie, George [Moore] and I got in the studio together and it was the most beautiful moment. It was a session I’ll never forget, for the rest of my life. It was extremely special and everyone in the room understood that."
"We were making something that hopefully, God willing, lives forever. Something that has soul and feeling and it came from a really pure place. We took a truth and made some art from it."
Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Edem Wornoo. It arrives after the 29-year-old was confirmed as the first headliner for the 2023 edition of London's All Points East. He'll curate and top the bill at Victoria Park on August 18, with the day being billed as This Is What We Mean Day.
