David Spade is an American stand-up comedian, actor, voice actor and podcaster from Birmingham, Michigan.
Known for his sarcastic and self-deprecating comedic style, in both his stand-up material and acting roles, he hit the spotlight as a writer and cast member on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live between 1990 and 1996. In addition to stand-up comedy, he has also starred in both film and television, including the films Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Senseless, Joe Dirt, Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, The Benchwarmers, Grown Ups and its sequel, The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, and The Wrong Missy. He also hosted a late-night talk show, Lights Out with David Spade, which premiered in 2019. He has previously been nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globes. David Spade has shows in California lined up for spring 2025, alongside dates in Las Vegas. He will also join fellow comic Nikki Glaser for dates in Las Vegas in May and September 2025.
