Kula Shaker are a psychedelic indie-rock band from London.
Formed in 1995, the band won a contest—along with Placebo—to land a record deal with Columbia Records, eventually going on to drop their debut album 'K' in 1996. 'Pigs, Peasants And Astronauts' followed in 1999, with the band splitting shortly after. They reformed in 2004, and have since gone on to release a further four studio albums, with the most recent being 2022's '1st Congregational Church Of Eternal Love (And Free Hugs)’. They'll follow it up with 'Natural Magick' in February 2024. Kula Shaker head out on a UK tour in spring 2024, in support of their new album.
